Employee Spotlight - Travis Casey

Travis Casey, Install Technician

Travis joined the team in 2019 as a member of our installation team.

A little background on Travis:

Travis is one of the rare born and raised Houstonian, graduating from Cinco Ranch High School in Katy. Following

graduation, Travis went on to serve 5 years in the United States Army.

Before joining Light It Right, Travis worked all of the US and Overseas inspecting pipelines. The skills he learned on the job have greatly helped him with his new position, as well as helped us with some new techniques.

Why did you get into Lighting?
I’ve always had a passion for real estate and landscaping and having the ability to work in a field where I can transform not only the looks of someone’s property, but the value as well I believe is what mainly attracted me to lightning.
What is your favorite part of the job?
Turning something so ordinary into something magical.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years I would love to see myself doing the designing part of the job.
What do you like to do when you're not working?
When I am not at work I love spending time with my 2 kids, they are my everything! I have a huge passion for sports and fitness, so getting to the gym is a priority. When it comes to sports I am an avid Houston Astros and Rockets fan.

Travis continues to grow in his position and will be taking his CLVLT exam at the upcoming AOLP conference in February 2020. We are excited to see Travis continue to grow.
